- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Kevin Sobels is always a must stop cellar door everytime I come to the Hunter. Their Verdelho is the best in Pokolbin, as are their ports. The white port is great and their red port tastes like a delicious Christmas pudding. I'm always greeted with a smile and their local knowledge is so helpful with great tips about where to head to next to buy true Hunter Valley wines. It was interesting to hear how many Hunter cellar doors sell wines grown elsewhere around the country.
